Sherwood

Sherwood is another pop-rock band with indie roots who draw their inspiration from the Beach Boys. They hail from San Luis Obispo, California. I found this band long prior to the Bandcamp story. I came across their music on MySpace and fell in love with the songs they posted, which were all from their album "Sing, But Keep Going". After the story I'm about to tell you, they went on to be one of the first bands signed to MySpace Records and released two hit albums, "A Different Light" and "Qu".
My good luck streak continued after winning those Warped Tour tickets.  I was with my best friends Ben and Audrey and we were all over the place. None of us had ever been to anything like this. We walk in to first hear a song by a favorite and Ben and I, Hellogoodbye. I knew it was going to be an amazing day. After running around and trying to see every band that played, I caught word that Sherwood was playing at the MySpace tent. We ran over there and watched them play. Finally, after two years of loving the band and none of my friends every hearing about them, they became a little more real in my life. We all took pictures with the singer and with the awesome guy selling their merch.
A man walked up to me to advertise his band. This band was called Lion of Ido...
